3-D areola tattoos are realistic, restorative tattoos that re-create the look of a natural nipple and areola typically after breast surgery. They use shading, highlights and depth to create life like 3-dimensional appearance. 
This is often the final step in healing for people after mastectomies, breast construction or other breast surgeries, and gender affirming care.
